Aegis Commerce Solutions is a technology and services company that provides
electronic catalog and order management solutions to enhance
visibility into distributors and manufacturers supply chains.
The company has a number of pre-packaged solutions
that range from a simple on-line catalog with order processing and
credit card payment, called the Aegis Store™, through to a full, robust
supply chain management platform that automates order and inventory
management, warehousing, shipping and customer relationship management
via a system called Business Optimization System™.
All packages are available as a hosted service that is fully managed
by Aegis Commerce Solutions through their hosting partner, Inflow. Alternatively, the
technology can be offered as an application where the customer can
install and maintain it on their machines. In either configuration
the implementation timeframe is small - on average 30 days. All systems
can operate independent of the client’s existing systems. There is
no dependency on legacy systems for complete operation but the Aegis Commerce Solutions
programs can be integrated with existing legacy systems.
Aegis Commerce Solutions also offers a value-added service called Advantage Services™.
This service removes much of the burden of managing the implementation
and maintenance of the technology solution by having a team of professionals
from Aegis Commerce Solutions manage all of this for the client. A certain level of
Advantage Service is packaged with the software and includes implementation,
project management, integration, customization and training.
